PENNIES FROM HEAVEN
It is time for the 8th grade annual "Pennies
from Heaven" fundraiser. This fundraiser is held annually to benefit St.
Anthony’s Orphanage on the Island of Jamaica. The orphanage operates under
the guidance of Father Walsh and relies almost solely on donations of food,
clothing and money from various organizations.
Donations
Donations will be accepted in any denominations, nickels,
dimes, quarters, dollars and of course Pennies!
2002 Goals
In 2001 over $3,600 in donations was provided to Father
Walsh. For 2002 we have stretched our goal to
$4,000!!
We can meet this goal if
every classroom
raises $225.
Class Incentives
1st Class to reach $225 – 4 tag days
2nd Class to reach $225 – 3 tag days
3rd Class to reach $225 – 2 tag days
All other Classes to reach $225 – 1 tag day
