HISTORY BEE

WHO:  Each 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students compete against other 6th, 7th & 8th grades students at St. Paul's

WHAT:  the History Bee is given each year by Mr. Tetlow.  Each middle school student takes a quiz composed of a review of the history learned for the school year.  The Top 10 students in each grade goes on to compete in the final History Bee!!!!

WHEN:  The History Bee is held in May of each year.

WHY:  To give the middle school kids a chance to review what they have learned and to win free passes for next year's history class!!!

HOW:  The top 10 students from the quiz compete in a questions competition given by Mr. Tetlow.  It is a double elimination competition.  The top two 6th & 7th graders will win prizes and the top three 8th graders will win prizes.

WINNERS WILL RECEIVE:
6th & 7th Grade:
All Qualifiers:
  Quiz Pass
Runner Up:  Test Pass & Quiz Pass
Winner:  Homework Pass, Test Pass, Quiz Pass  & a Class Pass

8th Grade:
3rd Place Winner:  $25.00 Savings Bond
2nd Place Winner:  $50.00 Savings Bond
1st Place Winner:  $100.00 Savings Bond
